my 7 year old daughter loved it, and as you know with these movies there was some adult comedy too, not too adult of course, but it was good, we enjoyed ourselves

you must go if you saw RIO 1, if not, then it does not have that much meaning. See Rio 1 first. The music was fabulous,as expected, choreography is beyond amazing and the story was tender and loving. The voice of Ed,the chief, was pure perfection. Really a wonderful way to spend time with your kids and enjoy it as well.

There's no comparison to RIO so knowing that I was hoping the sequel would have been more music-driven. It felt disjointed and made just to make a movie. Having said that, my grandkids, ages 7 and 11, really enjoyed it, especially liked the part where the red birds made peace with Blue and his species so they could live in harmony. It's a lesson about bullying versus working together for the good of a community. The animation was superb and the soccer scenes very funny. I feel confident the children in your life will enjoy the movie; you on the other hand may wish to nap.

The first Rio was so good. This one didnt keep the kids engaged my 6 year old almost fell asleep and wanted to leave early. I would rather watch the first one again and get my money back for this one.
