Rifftrax Live! - Night of the Living Dead

Before you go to see this film, understand that what you're getting is the original Night of the Living Dead film, being ripped to shreds by the MST3K guys. If you know that going into it, you're well prepared. That being said, I had some slight trepidation before I saw the film, wondering if the guys had managed to keep their comedic wits sharp in the time since MST3K left the airwaves. But have no fear, they're as sharp as ever, and this film was a riot! The Burbank theater was a packed house and the audience wholeheartedly agreed with my take on the material because as the laughter revealed, we all enjoyed an evening of side splitting fun!

If you're an old school MST3K fan you need to always go to a RiffTrax event... It's a pun filled , fun filled laugh riot. No stone is left unturned and no opportunity to state the obvious is missed. I LOVE THIS STUFF!! I laughed and moaned and groaned and had a fantastic time. Looking forward to Santa and the Martians in December??

This movie it the movie that started the zombie craze. It also has a great look on how society treated people back then. Even with out the hilarious jokes that the boys from MST3K put over the top of it.

The movie that started all other Zombie movies. I loved this film as a teenager and we were having Halloween Parties. Zombies meet Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. I would do this again!

Night of the Laughing Dead

I took my wife to see Riff Trax: NOTLD and we had a great time. NOTLD is one of my all-time favorite movies and the guys from Riff Trax (who I loved on Mystery Science Theater 3000) are hilarious. I love classic horror movies, but my wife tends to find them boring. However, she had a great time and laughed throughout the movie at the great commentary. I only had one complaint with the presentation: There are times where the movie screen is put to one side and the three guys are shown vertically along the other side. That, I didn't mind. But the occasional panning out to show the audience, stage, performers, screen, etc. didn't seem necessary and, at least for me, interrupted the flow of the movie. Other than that, I loved it.
