I went with a group of fellow birders, and had intentionally avoided seeing any trailers so I could experience the shock and terror of the birdemic in its full glory at the theater. It definitely helped to have a few drinks in me, and go with a group. Of course the RiffTrax commentary made it that much more hilarious (even the boring first half of the movie.) When the birds eventually appeared (finally!) I laughed more than I'd ever laughed at any movie before! I was glad I hadn't seen any trailers beforehand, so I could really savor that moment. Not sure it would have been as funny just watching it on my own, but in the right context it's definitely worth seeing.

Birdemic is an awful, awful movie. Perhaps you've seen Plan 9 from Outer Space. Maybe you've even seen Manos: The Hands of Fate. You've dwelled on the bottom of the barrel. But Birdemic lurks below the barrel.
And yet, thanks to Mike, Bill and Kevin, Birdemic is hilarious. A complete transformation into side-splitting fun. 100% worthwhile.

Birdemic was the second-worst film I've ever seen, but the quips and additions from the guys were fantastic. I love bad movies with snarky comments - reminds me of Friday nights with my family doing the same thing.

The comedic geniuses over at Rifftrax are back with what can only be described as a low, low, low, low, low budget movie with blockbuster aspirations that is rife for parody, and the Rifftrax boys are just the men for the job. I can honestly say without a doubt that this is the hardest I ever have and probably ever will laugh in my entire life. If sometime in the near future I descend into a downward spiral of depression and rage, it is only because I have realized that I will never laugh that hard again. Thank you, Rifftrax.

The plot, the acting, the music, the special effects, the editing were all so woefully lacking. I'm not sure whether I laughed more or moaned more...hard to remember. It is hard to recall a film more poorly made. This film makes 'Manos, Hands of Fate" look like a 5 star film. RiffTrax did a marvelous job poking fun.`
