Slow and cliche
I have a lot of respect for Katee Sackhoff from her role as Starbuck in BSG, but it's sad to see her treated like an object (all beit an ***kicking object) in this movie.
The pace is pretty slow for the most part, nothing like the Riddick movie before this. Plot is kinda weak... the role of the father seeking the truth behind his son's death is a weak one. How on earth he makes it back to the ship after getting stranded out there in the end is beyond me... miles and miles of those creatures - u gotta run out of bullets some time!
All in all, Riddick is always watchable because he's so damn cool - but I think Starbuck should have saved the day, been the only one to escape and gotten laid without having to sell herself short and act like a piece of meat.
