Odd....Limited Substance With A Confused Plot And Little To Entertain.
I rarely give an OH NO rating, even though I see hundreds of movies a year in theaters. This film deserves it roundly. The characters, albeit odd, are not compelling to the audience. The screenplay is amateurish, meandering, never reaching anything approaching a destination. The whole texture of this film is dark but unlike classic dark comedies like Harold and Maude, there's nothing worthy of mention here, especially regarding comedic tone. Frankly, my perspective on this film is that it?s just short of a cinematic disaster, not even worthy of the $1 bins in a discount store. How it found a distributor for theatrical exhibition is a real mystery and can only be explained as likely some guy's pay off to the brother-in-law to get the wife off his back. It's awful. Skip it even on DVD or stream. You'll be glad you did.
