Don't get me wrong they are so hot but their hotness doesn't make up for the lack of plot. It was one long action scene thats all!

...and I'm thinking, "Too little, too late."
I enjoyed the first movie, but those feelings quickly deteriorated as the storylines in each additional chapter became more and more convoluted. Integrating characters from the video games made each movie all the messier as none of them could have survived without Alice, which makes them glorified extras.
As for this movie, I only have one question: of all the monsters to choose from, why did Paul W.S. Anderson use the same creature from the first film in a chase scene? Using one that hasn't shown up yet - a Hunter, Mr. X, etc. - would have redeemed in terms of originality. As it is, I just felt ripped off seeing something that I'd already seen Alice defeat in parts one and two come crawling around; the fact that it is bigger doesn't make it better.
That said, if it had been Nemesis - that would have been totally worth it.
It was nice to get the original cast back together; I would have liked to see James Purefoy.

I wouldn't see it again, was not the best resident evil but it was entertaining.
Some of the acting was kind of cheesy, and the plot for this one was kinda weird.

Wonderful action and beautiful Special effects, they have yaken the series into a new direction. this is the type of movie Imax was made for. Milla is still beautiful as ever.

I saw it on/in Imax 3-D. I have to agree with many of the other reviews I have read here: this installment is better than the last 2, but too flawed to stand alongside of the earliest installment(s) of the series.
On the strong side: There are some very stylized/engaging visual sequences. The first 10 minutes + some other scenes were artfully rendered--almost like a avant-garde Samurai movie. The soundtrack was impressive. Yes,lots of explosions, but also many eerie/sad/powerful melodies that infused scenes with a sort of dark, ominous grace (reminiscent of Matrix,Dark City,or Inception). If you are a long-time series fan, you'll like the (re)appearance of many familiar faces.
The negative(s): WEAK writing and plot. Whenever you need a character to tell Alice (so as to tell the audience) where they were and what's supposed to happen next, it's sloppy story telling and writing. Alice had supposedly lost her superpowers, but yet she kicks, jumps and acts the same--really??
