For all you zombie fans out there, go check out "Resident Evil:Retribution" now! The first 10-15 minutes might have you somewhat confused, but as the movie goes on and the plot thickens, all the questions you might have are answered. Milla Jovovich plays the role of Alice once again, along for the ride are Sienna Guillory (Jill Valentine), Michelle Rodriguez (Rain), Aryana Engineer (Becky), Bingbing Li (Ada Wong), Boris Kodjoe (Luther West), Johann Urb (Leon S. Kennedy), Robin Kasyanov (Sergei), Kevin Durand (Brry Burton), Colin Salmon (One), Oded Fehr (Todd/Carlos) and Shawn Roberts (Albert Wesker). The earth is on the brink of war, and Alice and her friends must stop the Umbrella Corporation once and for all. Will they be able to do it? Tons of zombie kills which will make everyone happy! Can't wait to see the 6th movie out in the future!

I had high hopes for this Movie. I loved the first one and I have been slowly disliking those that followed more and more as they each came out. I love the games (Resident Evil 4 is the best by far on the Wii). But the sad truth is that this movie doesn't add anything to the franchise. Sure we have a few characters from the games that we love, but this movie doesn't do them justice. If you loved the first one, you won't like this one. I highly recommend this movie on Netflix or Redbox, but it is simply not worth the money to see it in theaters. And if you have never seen any of the movies before, don't start with this one.

Not as bad as I expected it to be (I guess)

Probably a rental if you are into the series. C- acting at best and a plot that makes no sense. It looks like they left an opening for another sequel.

It just may have been the best one...

They had me from the first explosion. The opening credits just may have been the very best that I've seen: Creative, well-shot, original, exciting. Saying more than that would spoil it. After the opening, they provided an overview that they gave to get old and new viewers in the right frame of mind for the action to come. Once the movie started, they never let up---moved quickly and purposefully. The action was just what you'd expect--violent, well-timed, just the right amount of ridiculousness to fulfill your escapist-action needs. Have you ever played a video game where the opener and the cut scenes were just really well done? The kind where you went "how come they can't do these graphics throughout the game?!? That's how the movie was. They even made the live characters look like video-game people (they had "anime hair"). I had fun. I thought the ending/set-up for 'next' movie was a little crazy. But I had so much fun I said "heck, I'll deal with that when the time comes!

Can't say it was my favorite of the series, but I still enjoyed it. Great special effects as usual. Interesting twists to the plot. Lots of action scenes.
