I'm really surprised that this movie isn't getting better ratings. I saw it last weekend and I LOVED it. I truly think it has been one of the best ones so far, and I hope they make another. It was awesome that they brought some of the more familiar video game characters into this movie, i.e. Ada Wong, Barry Burton, and Leon S. Kennedy. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Leon on the screen for the first time. The jacket(if you played RE4, you'll know what I mean) was a nice touch. I would totally see this movie again. Great acting too!

Not the best in the series...

Not the best in the series, but not the worst either. Movie went a bit all over the place and some reactions from the previous cast was a bit dry, unconvincing, and not very explanatory. They seemed to have gone off the beaten path way too much, but I guess some of the fight scenes make up for it, which were a lot. There will be another Resident Evil, and being a fan of the franchise will be going to see it cuz truth be told the ending was probably the best part, so looking forward to seeing what they do with it.

This movie was action packled, supensful, and had scenes that made you jump out of your seat. It truely added a new unique flavor to the Resident Evil. One that really unfolds all the gaps, leaving you toward the final chapter in this saga. I should also mention the specail effects and animation were out od this world

Not Impressed

The Resident Evil franchise has had it's ups and downs, but number five is a new low. Worse, in my opinion, than Resident Evil Extinction, Retribution is one-hour and thirty minutes of hardcore bull-crap followed by five minutes of actual story that basically only sets up Resident Evil 6. I'm a Milla fan, and don't get me wrong; she still kicks ass, but her involvement in this film is disappointing. Perhaps the franchise will get back on track with 6.
