Will you stupid idiots make up your mind and come to a conclusion. I can't make a decision on one bad review and one good review.

Gotta love a movie that hooks you withing the first minute of the opening trailer and never lets go. Clever writing allowing previous stars to come back. Thought provoking about the concept of suspension of disbelief. If you are a fan it is definitely worth paying theater prices.

For all you zombie fans out there, go check out "Resident Evil:Retribution" now! The first 10-15 minutes might have you somewhat confused, but as the movie goes on and the plot thickens, all the questions you might have are answered. Milla Jovovich plays the role of Alice once again, along for the ride are Sienna Guillory (Jill Valentine), Michelle Rodriguez (Rain), Aryana Engineer (Becky), Bingbing Li (Ada Wong), Boris Kodjoe (Luther West), Johann Urb (Leon S. Kennedy), Robin Kasyanov (Sergei), Kevin Durand (Brry Burton), Colin Salmon (One), Oded Fehr (Todd/Carlos) and Shawn Roberts (Albert Wesker). The earth is on the brink of war, and Alice and her friends must stop the Umbrella Corporation once and for all. Will they be able to do it? Tons of zombie kills which will make everyone happy! Can't wait to see the 6th movie out in the future!

I had high hopes for this Movie. I loved the first one and I have been slowly disliking those that followed more and more as they each came out. I love the games (Resident Evil 4 is the best by far on the Wii). But the sad truth is that this movie doesn't add anything to the franchise. Sure we have a few characters from the games that we love, but this movie doesn't do them justice. If you loved the first one, you won't like this one. I highly recommend this movie on Netflix or Redbox, but it is simply not worth the money to see it in theaters. And if you have never seen any of the movies before, don't start with this one.

There was at least a solid 20 minutes of going back over the franchise to bring new watchers up to speed. By the end they had brought back old characters, defined the enemy, undid things that had been done, and basically set the franchise on a path to continue. They didn't do anything new yet struggled with writing an actual plot. If you are a fan of the series, you have to see it. If you aren't a fan, you really should skip this one in the theater.
