Was great nothing wrong with it just that it seemed to be a long movie clip to get you worked up for what maybe coming next. I was kind of let down even though it was good.

Overall the movie was good and the effects were great. When Retribution was first announced, it was supposed to be over 2 hours long. Why did the director cut over 40 minutes from the movie? I believe this cut hurt the movie overall. The cut probably had more story and content we missed at the movies. I know it will get a blu-ray extended version but it should have never been cut from original format. See Wiki for original run time. Good movie, but I'd wait until you can actually see the entire movie on Blu-ray release date. I look forward to watching the original score not cut.

There's no point in making this movie it should of ended in the last one. the story goes into another direction and as you are watching the movie it gets kind of old, you are expecting to see whats gonna happen next and it never does, it takes place in the same spot, the whole film I felt like if was watching a power rangers series , what the heck happen to their budget or story line ? they didn't even had a good soundtrack to the film . you realize in the middle of the film that this is pointless .should of known when i saw the preview ...

Resident Evil is a very complex series, in terms of the video game. Its a very Japanese style story that is not easily adapted for American audiences, especially when turning it into a movie.
From day one these movies have been awful adaptations of a loved video game series and this film is no different,
Uninspired action, terrible special effects, plot holes left and right, & characters from the video game that should recognize each other are given stupid back stories and just dropped in for cameo-sake.
Paul W.S. Anderson needs to drop the Resident Evil series from his tight grip and never go back. Allow this movie to sit for a few years before some talented writer who grew up playing these games, writes a fantastic script based off the games.
Also, Mila Jovovich is terrible and needs to stop acting as well. It seems like the only movies she gets roles in anymore are the ones her husband makes anyway.
