    IMAX & 3D is BEST!

Go see it in IMAX 3D and watch the blood splatter out the screen. Not as good as Avengers - then again nothing was this summer...certainly better than The Expendables 2 a total cheesy laughable movie. Milla still looks great for a flat chested woman and the movie certainly left it open for yet another sequel.

    Wait for the DVD

I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil series. However, I was totally disappointed with this latest installment. I did like the fight choreography though. Milla, of course, was sensational as well as the other big name actors. Everyone else was doing B-movie acting or worse. Who wrote this dialogue? Fire them immediately please! Also, as an intelligent person, I questioned most of the situations because they were kind of silly. Example: Why would the team need a computer program or GPS to figure out how to escape to the back of the store? How did Alice suddenly know sign language to talk to her clone-child? I sincerely believe they only made this movie as a precursor to a video game. Therefore, wait for the DVD release.

    Y'all are trippin!

Sorry, but I really loved this movie...well I am not sorry I feel like my opinion is valid here. This was a good movie..I am a diehard resident evil fan, and this movie totally had me on the edge of my seat because I just didn't know what to expect next. They brought back some essential characters that didn't make such a debut but it is only because it is setting you up for what's next! I just wanted to know what was going on, and the movie explains it. Go see this movie, and at the end of the day if you're a fan, no matter how much you DIDN'T like it guess what? YOU WILL GO TO SEE THE NEXT ONE JUST 'CAUSE YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN IT! And that's that's the point! However some of the acting had me laughing but hey it's all good...still worth the money! GO SEE IT! Milla and Michelle ROCK! My 2 favorite actresses of all time!

Alice Is At It Again...Big, Loud, Beautiful and Well-Armed.

If you've followed this saga in film this far, the current installment won't disappoint you, as it represents yet another chapter in what appears to be an endless story(line). Still, this one is just as fun to watch as all the others and for the exact same reasons. Plus, you won't get a headache trying to follow the plot line (as in Total Recall). There's actually very little time for a plot here though, what with all the endless creature murder, violent angst and physically impossible body language...Side Note: One mustn?t spend too much time on that body language comment, as the posters alone speak loudly to this point. Without criticism, frankly it amazes me just how many different ways a movie murder can be performed without becoming monotonous. Don't bother counting them here either. You'll never get an accurate figure. All-in-all, this movie's entertaining and worth its ticket price. What more can you ask? Free popcorn? You're dreaming. See this movie. It's not bad.

Resident Evil: Retribution or should I say Ridicules!

The movie should be called Resident Evil: Ridicules. I love the series of Resident Evil movies until now! Acting/BAD, story plot/RIDICULES, action segments/OK but not enough of them, computer generated graphics/POOR. Essentially, a waste of money and boring! Save your money and go see End of Watch!

Wasn't as great as i expected, not as great as the others, but all in all its ok. I wish I hadn't spent the money to see it in IMAX thinking it was going to be as great as the others but oh well.

    Evil Goes global

This movie was action packled, supensful, and had scenes that made you jump out of your seat. It truely added a new unique flavor to the Resident Evil. One that really unfolds all the gaps, leaving you toward the final chapter in this saga. I should also mention the specail effects and animation were out od this world

Going directly to DVD would not have helped this picture

The opening was showing the first 10 minutes of the film in slow motion backwards explaining the plot line, who does this? Then we got to see the first 10 minutes going forward but by then the movie was a sleeper. Computer generated graphics were in depth and it looked like most of the movie was just that. If the people were real or at any time did any acting, you could not tell. I looked like they took the images and plastered them into a video game. I was a fan of the first movie, but this movie left me not wanting any more.

    very fanbase

Gotta love a movie that hooks you withing the first minute of the opening trailer and never lets go. Clever writing allowing previous stars to come back. Thought provoking about the concept of suspension of disbelief. If you are a fan it is definitely worth paying theater prices.

    Plenty of Action but...

I was expecting more. As normal, great visuals, not a bad way to spend a few hours, but I was just expecting the movie to advance further than it did...

    Awful!

    by CTronge

If you like watching a video game then please go!

It was laughable, terrible, horrible, boring, crap....it's just not worth a look.

I love horror movies and I was hoping it would be interesting at the very least.

    BUT NO!!!

    Resident Evil Not at Home

Although many of the acrobatic combat maneuvers by Milla were crazy great to see as usual and she did a fine job, the movie in general disappointed. Although I am not a Resident Evil gamer, I have greatly enjoyed all the movies up to this point. Previous movies seemed to take the essence of the STORY of the game and then adapt it to the movie genre and movie audience. However, Evil Goes Global seemed to be less of a translation of a video game to the movie format than just a filming of the game format. The transitions from "crisis" to "crisis", the use of a countdown timer, the need to use a device to "find a way out" of a fatal situation, etc all screamed game and not movie. Additionally, with few exceptions, the acting of the characters other than Alice were sophomoric.

Disappointing. I'm still glad I saw it as I still enjoyed some of the battle scenes and Milla's character but overall it was not up to par wit the rest of the series.
