So-So at Best

I was soooo unimpressed with this movie. It seemed to be a movie made just as a in between the last one, which was pretty good, and the next one. It didn't really seem to have a real plot other than bringing back old faces. I knew better, but I saw it in 3D which probably made the experience worst as it seemed to slow down the movie unnecessarily for certain effects.

Mila and her very own Genre

I've seen each and every Resident Evil, and they just keep getting better. And by better I mean, worse better. Mila has truly developed her very own genre of sic-fi zombie camp amazingness. What they do with green screen is amazing -- no real sets or locations here. And each line awful line being delivered as if being read off a cue card with NO acting ability is sure to provide even the most stern of people a good laugh out loud at least once every 5 minutes. Not to be missed.

Resident Evil including the video games

I just saw Resident Evil in 3D a little earlier today and I gotta say...I was impressed with the new characters from the video games, and with the bad*** chicks in the movie. However, the 3D is not necessary to enjoy the film because majority of the film is non-stop action scenes anyway. I liked the movie overall, but didn't love it for two reasons: Albert Wesker being somewhat of a protagonist and the big kaboom moment at the end. Although I thought the camera angles and CGI were outstanding, the fact that in the plot, Albert Wesker is the polar opposite of what he is in the games was not expected nor highly liked by me. I won't give anything away, but when you see the movie, you will know what I mean. As far as the big kaboom moment at the end of the word: cliffhanger. Ugh......but what can we do, it's Resident Evil franchise. Overall, I'd give this film a B- , and for obvious reasons from the content and trailers, this movie is for ages 17+.

Visually Stunning but..

The fans ask for the movies to be more like the games, so this is what you get a big adaption of how someone would play around in the Resident Evil universe while lacking an actual story, but all in all it was a fun ride.
