It was quite the experience to actually watch all three movies in a row and in the theatre. It was really the ultimate way to get ready for the dark night rises if you are at all a batman fan. I would hope that they would have similar events like this for other types of sequals in the future.

AWESOME MARATHON

Definitely worth the 25 dollars, and it was awesome rewatching the old movies to really get into the midnight premiere. The audience really got into the movie which really made it a wonderful experience. We were clapping and roaring by the time the dark knight rises started playing. One thing about marathons though is to be prepared. Definitely a draining experience sitting there for 9 hours, but despite all that, it was definitely worth it!

Great movie but not the best of the trilogy

I had the pleasure of sitting through the marathon and seeing all 3 movies together.! The good: An enjoyable solid movie. Anne H. stole the show in my opinion. I was not really thrilled when they casted her but she really pulled it off. There were lots of references to the previous 2 movies & tied the movies together very nicely. Without giving anything away I did really like the ending. Some really great action sequences but in my opinion #2 in the trilogy. The Dark Knight and Ledgers Joker simply is the best of the trilogy. Not so good: Bane is just not understandable at times. There was more than one occasion that l leaned over and asked the person next to me "what did he just say". Another minor thing that bugged me was the "skyline" shots of Gotham City. 1st it was NYC then Pittsburgh then back to NYC didnt seem right. Overall its a really good movie, it really was great to see all 3 together! I am already telling people to go check it

There was just something missing. The 1st hour just drug on. 2nd half of the movie was pretty good....I didn't get shot, so overall I would rate it a good night at the movies.

Poor communication on the part of Regal Cinemas staff (Red Rock at Chaleston Blvd)

When I got in there was already a long line in progress. The line was for the midnight premier of The Dark Knight Rises, however half of us in that line thought we were still waiting to be let into the Batman movie marathon. We didn't know the auditoriums were already open and seats were already filling up. It was left up to the individuals in line to figure out for themselves that they were in line for the wrong event. I still got a reasonably good seat, but only because I was there by myself as usually seems to be the case.
