Great movie but not the best of the trilogy

I had the pleasure of sitting through the marathon and seeing all 3 movies together.! The good: An enjoyable solid movie. Anne H. stole the show in my opinion. I was not really thrilled when they casted her but she really pulled it off. There were lots of references to the previous 2 movies & tied the movies together very nicely. Without giving anything away I did really like the ending. Some really great action sequences but in my opinion #2 in the trilogy. The Dark Knight and Ledgers Joker simply is the best of the trilogy. Not so good: Bane is just not understandable at times. There was more than one occasion that l leaned over and asked the person next to me "what did he just say". Another minor thing that bugged me was the "skyline" shots of Gotham City. 1st it was NYC then Pittsburgh then back to NYC didnt seem right. Overall its a really good movie, it really was great to see all 3 together! I am already telling people to go check it

The perfect ending to Nolan's Batman franchise

My friends and I chose to do the marathon because 1.) Most of us had not seen Batman Begins in theaters and 2.) My best friend and I wanted to squeeze in one more DK viewing on the big screen...it was #20 for me!!! It was so much fun getting to see all 3 of them together. We were able to see how they all fit together after being able to see DKR the night before (we had tickets to an early screening). Believe me -- I've been excited about this movie since the credits rolled in DK so I definitely had HIGH expectations. Nolan did not let me down -- in fact, he surpassed my expectations. I thought it was perfect - the best series ending I've ever seen. So, in a few words...go see this movie in theaters! I know you'll love it!!! :o)

Great Movies! Lousy Intermission!

I saw the Dark Knight marathon at the Orlando Waterford lakes theatre. It was busy, but, not too crazy busy. THe only low point was the first intermission. I group of 3 went to the restroom (waited in line), went and got snacks (waited in longer line) and then went back to our seats the crowd continued to trickle in for abourt 5 minutes, but, after that we were all ready for the movie. Unfortunately, we all had to seat and wait another 20 minutes. Whatever the intermission was, it was too long.

Hi! I had a great time at the Dark Knight Marathon. I was in Egypt for Begins, and Afghanistan for Knight, so it was great to be able to see all three on the big screen! My wife and I were suffering from 'Movie Hangover' the next morning, but it was worth it! Now about the movie, the beginning was super slow, it didn't have the same kind of development as the first two, but once it got rolling, it had me on the edge of my seat! I will have to say that The Dark Knight Rises wasn't the best of the series in my opinion. Those that were comparing Bane's (Tom Hardy) performance to Heath Ledger's 'Joker'... not even close. When watching The Dark Knight, you don't think of someone playing a character when Joker is on the screen.
