Tuskegee Airmen

As a Tuskegee Alumni I encourage everyone to attend this movie to understand an important part of our history. While no holiwood movie is 100% accurate the key references and story lines remain true to the spirit of the Airmen and what they accomplished! They laid the ground work for what became the civil rights movement! I also appreciate the play be did to honor the first black aviator in WWI. My favorite scene was when the general said respect the uniform and the retort was that is all I respect...that attitude and the fact we must earn our way through performance is what permeated Tuskegee during my time there. Go and see it!

This is one of the best movies that i have seen in a long time. I would encourage all to see. shows ignorance of men but in the end the ignorance turns to thankfulness. Great movie for children to see as well. Acting was awesome. I would give the movie ********

I totally loved this movie. There is not more to say other than this should have been a required study in all schools. I don't have much commentary as a result of my desire to avoid making inflammatory remarks that would simply take away from the pure joy of watching, being entertained and educated by a story/experience/movie that is a significant part of American history.

This movies fails because of horrible storytelling, Lucas shines when he has a animated character somewhere to feature in his movies and since he couldn't inject one into this movie that might have been the reason it struggled to find its feet. the sub plot stories were predictable and badly carried out. I did not feel a camaraderie between the featured characters and even worse the movie never focused on what being an airmen meant to them, why would these men endure the trials of the military & society to accomplish what the Tuskegee Airmen did? This movie is more like bad re-write of Pearl Harbor (not that PH was a great film by any stretch of the imagination) done in black face. I would never say to anyone don't go see this movie, I will say the movie failed entertain, excite, educate or motivate me.

Great story, not good acting. It sounded like they were reading from the script. And the guy with the high pitched voice REALLY got on my nerves. But very nice story.
