    good remake

    Best movie of 2012? Hardly. Must see movie? Nope. You'll laugh so hard, you'll wet yourself? Don't worry about getting any depends. It will keep you riveted in your seat? Nah.

    Good action flick that is unbelievable, but enjoyable? Yep.

    Its a good movie for the nights when you are not serious enough to see a drama and don't want to see another cute animated movie and are not wanting any more syrup from twilight and aren't ready for corny comedies. That's when you see this one and you can pretty much like (not love or even really like) it.

    This is the BEST movie on the face of the earth! It has an absolute great fast and a great plot! I'm gonna buy it the day it comes out!

    if you saw the b\w one , i think it was better maybe its the actor.
    Josh Hutcherson should have been the young brother bad casting

    Now if you dont know what im talking about then go see it ...
    It's good , the end... well you will see:.not an oscar winner tho ... but thats my saying what do i know lololol.have fun .

    Great Theater average movie

    Red Dawn was a good movie but as soon as it started to get interesting it ended. You felt like you needed to see it again to understand it. North Korea/ China maybe. It just didn't make sense for Nor Korea to come here like that without help from another country.

    Very Patriotic

    This movie will restore your faith in the love for freedom for which America was once known. It gives us hope that we could get it back, but at such a sacrifice.

    Awful, awful, awful. This is a piece of right wing divorced-from-reality propaganda that will appeal to the most extreme tea party militia types. Oh and one of the two African American characters is Spokane's mayor and is portrayed as a weak sympathizer (a very in-subtle allusion to President Obama) and the other is blamed for the death of the movie's hero. Awful.
