HOLLYWOOD'S ABU GHRAIB
This movie actually hurt to watch, not just because of the dehumanizing effects, it will end up putting our men and women on the front lines in jeopardy the same way Abu Ghraib did. Is there really a reason to make our soldiers look this violent and degrading? Brave young men and women, your neighbor's, sons, daughters, have put their life on the line and this country does not give a damn. Vote on this one with your feet, don't let this be our international voice/image. CAN HOLLYWOOD NOT COME UP WITH A FILM TO SHOW THE COURAGE THAT TAKES PLACE EVERY DAY 'OVER THERE'? For those of you in the know, when you hear the bagpipes play and the flag is folded, pray to whomever you pray to that this film is not responsible for a soldiers death because someone took it for the truth. KEEP FILMS LIKE THIS WHERE THEY BELONG...A BAD IDEA IN SOME IDIOTS HEAD. WHO CAN MAKE A FILM THAT DOES NOT GLORIFY WAR, BUT PORTRAYS THE COURAGE OF OUR FIGHTING MEN AND WOMEN? ANYONE........

Redacted Redacted
Well, I TRIED to see the movie but it has been apparently redacted. I would sure like to know if this was economical - no interest - or political, that is, a violation of free speech. It is no wonder so many reviewers feel such a movie does disservice to the troops. Many of the same are those who have given the current administration carte blanche in Iraq. Do not the lives of innocent men, women, & children in Iraq mean anything? Does not an Iraqi child bleed as your own? Have you all bought into the Faux News demagoguery that only our cause is just? I would like an opportunity to see the film, heavy handed or not. Then I can from my own opinions, not just react to those served up by the Neocon left and right.
