This is my husband's all time favorite movie, it was an excellent idea to bring it back into theaters so that he could watch it with our 9 year old son and 13 year old daughter. The sound was amazing and we loved the clarity. It was a huge hit with our family and friends. We were glad to see that E.T. would soon be out also! Keep it up, we love sharing the classics from our childhood with our children.

the action, the direction, the writing, the acting, the speed, all great. Harrison ford was already a star, but man did he know how to pull it off.

Great to see this again in the theater, and on IMAX no less. Still has much fun as it was 30 years ago. Theater was only about 1/2 full, but we all laughed and most of us were reciting it throughout the movie. Thanks again, Indi. :D

The Timeless First Adventure of Indiana "Ageless" Jones

It goes without saying it is always a treat to see a beloved classic like this one as it was meant to be seen in theaters. I think I would have enjoyed it more with a larger crowd. I saw it on a Tuesday morning with only a handful of other patrons, maybe three or four, in attendance. But it remains a non stop thrill ride from beginning to end, if you'll excuse the cliche. Three sequels followed, but "Raiders" is in a class by itself. "Temple of Doom" and "Last Crusade" are classics in their own right and have stood the test of time, but the merely passable "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" is easily forgotten. The newly restored digital print looks great, but some scenes appeared slightly fuzzy and unfocused, indicating it was obviously retrofitted for IMAX screens. I would still pay $11 to see it over any of the current releases, with the exception of "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Avengers."

Raiders of the Lost Ark: IMAX

It was great seeing the movie again on the big screen. However I wasn't impressed with the movie on IMAX. There were portions of the film that were out-of-focus. It wasn't sharper or clearer on the screen. It just looked like the original film but supposedly shown in IMAX. I have to ask what's being done to the films for release on Blu-ray??
