R.I.P.D. is D.O.A

RIPD is Men in Black with a little Constantine thrown in. I had low expectations for this movie which were promptly justified in the 1st 15 minutes. It's fun, but not fun enough to see over the other good movies currently showing. RIPD is definitely funnier than the last MIB, but that isn't saying much. Jeff Bridges and Mary-Louise Parker are best thing about the movie. Ryan Reynolds's character evolves from immensely unlikable to tolerable. RIPD's chuckle inducing scenes can't make up for the poor CGI, lack of action, and predictable plot. If you want to see a great comedic duo in police roles, see The Heat. if you want to see some scary dead people, see The Conjuring. If you want to see great action and great CGI, see Pacific Rim. If you want to see something with Ryan Reynolds, see Turbo. If you want to see R.I.P.D., wait for it to come out on Red Box or Netflix There's nothing during or after the credits If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!

This movie should RIP. In a totally different class(Lower) then the Men in Black series. Not that funny, Jeff Bridges accent was annoying, poor character development, stupid premise.

In the same genre as Men in Black

Extremely clever. Lots of big laughs. fast action, and not so terribly predictable that you are yawning at the end. Strangely enough it's not Ryan Reynolds who is the heart throb in this film, it's Jeff Bridges, who plays a cantankerous and quirky old codger, who is revealed to have a weakness for women's ankles. Adorable. You'll enjoy this movie, and you'll be glad you went.

Very Entertaining! The 3d Effect certainly made it worth seeing this in the theater. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for some laughs and action.
