More than just a movie - it's a feeling...

Interesting, engaging, happy ending. I found the film to be a bit slow in some spots, but Sissy kept us guessing and loving her. Maggie Smith was excellent as always. The story line is familiar and showed what determination, compassion and grit can produce. I especially liked the interaction with the young adults. We need more of that at retirement communities.

What an enjoyable movie! Actors, acting, music, are incredible. Entertaining and mind opening for a lot of us. (Sorry, I didn't mean to speak for you) It made me find out how much I have missed in life. Feel good, do yourself a favor, and enjoy this movie.

Great movie for the "older" viewer. Maggie great as usual. Dustin Hoffman knows of what he directs in this beautifully filmed and meaningful film. A pleasure to see.

This is a must see movie for anyone over the age of 55 who appreciates superb acting, beautiful cinematography, aging mega-stars unashamed to display their wrinkles but not their unmatched talent. Best movie I've seen in ages. Very quiet movie but the profound effect will stay with me forever. Mr. Hoffman is a remarkable man, actor and now director.

Lovely Film

Fabulous acting - excellent script-writing - some beautiful cinematography. What's not to like? A bit melancholy, but very believeable characters, and an ultimately happy ending. Also, lots of fabulous music, operatic and instrumental. I'd happily see it again. If you saw and liked "Exotic Marigold Hotel," "Quartet" is in a similar vein, but rather more optimistic.
