Of all comic book properties that could be adapted successfully The Punisher has got to be one of the easiest. One man against the mob who killed his family. A man with no superpowers, or crazy weapons. I mean really, except for those white boots and gloves he sports in the comics, there truly was nothing really unbelievable about the character. Yet somehow Hollywood has managed to screw this up THREE times. What really makes this crazy is that this type of movie has been successfully done over and over again over the years. Death Wish. The Exterminator (Go find that one. It's the Punisher in 1980s Times Square. Robert Ginty stars). The Brave One. They might not all be winners, but they sure captured the tone of the Punisher's comics better then this Punisher movie did.I really wanted to like this movie, but I couldn't. This was the worst of the lot. Special mention to Dominic West who seemed to have thought he was playing a villian in the 1966 Batman TV show
Overall it was a great movie, i love the punisher and what hes about and i think this movie really captured the whole aspect of him...
It was an interesting movie. I didn't see the first one, but I heard this one was better? At any rate, the movie was so bloody and graphic, wow. I hope parents didn't take their kids to see this.
BORING and not the same guy!!!!!!
The best scene involves some lame-o parkour dudes and the punisher with a rocket launcher. You might want to replay that part just to make sure it actually happened.
