Synopsis: After a chance encounter, theater-loving teen Richard Samuels (Zac Efron) gets the opportunity of a lifetime when famed director Orson Welles (Christian McKay) gives him a small role in his 1937 production of ``Julius Caesar.'' Unexpectedly thrust into the heady world of the stage, Richard finds himself surrounded by ambition, clashing egos and sheer brilliance.

How Does It Work:

  1. From November 17, 2009 to January 30, 2010, for every ticket sold to Me and Orson Welles via this site, Fandango and Freestyle Releasing will donate $1.00* to the to the theater or film department of the school that made the purchase.

  2. When purchasing Me and Orson Welles tickets, enter your school’s code in the “Group Code” box, as indicated. At the end of this promotion, Fandango and Freestyle Releasing will calculate the donation amounts and send checks to the participating schools

  3. Theater or film programs interested in participating can e-mail MeandOrsonWelles.tickets@gmail.com to request a Group Code.

  4. *Fandango will donate $0.50 per ticket and Freestyle will donate $0.50 per ticket, for a total of $1.00 per ticket. Fandango will donate a maximum of $10,000.00.
