  K, so i heard some ppl sayin tat this movie sucked...but i TOTALLY disagree!!!
  i thought it was suuuupppeeerrr goooooooddddd!!!!
  i loved it!!!
  A LOT!!!!
  it had me nervous & anxious!!!
  it was just great!
  best horror movie ive seen in years!

  FLOP NIGHT

  I just saw the free press preview of this screamfest.
  NOTE: 'PROM NIGHT' is NOT a 'horror' film.
  
  This suspense/thriller was deftly competently directed by Nelson McCormick. He tried hard to avoid cliches associated with this genre but as talented as he is, alas he was working with a lack-luster below-average WEAK script. There was only so much he could do to try to rescue it. I sympathize with him helming this sinking ship of a movie. 'B+' for directing.
  A few false scares, a smattering of scream-moments BUT overall, it was a disappointing plot/story.
  
  Despite a lack of character development, Brittany Snow (Hairspray) did shine in her role. She is a promising budding thespian and I hope for her career much future success. As for the rest of the cast, they were mostly in the movie because of their looks. And there were CUTIES aplenty - of both sexes. Most of the cast suffered from either a case of UNDER-acting or OVER-acting.
  
  Recommendation: If you must, wait for the DVD.

  Review of Prom Night

  The movie was great. Me and my wife both thought that it should have been rated R. We had a hard time watching it cause there was little teens in the theater watching the movie. The only thing was that they were not watching the movie. Instead they would talk. But we dealt with it. The movie was great. Planed out well lots of excitement, lots of moments that made you wanna jumps out of your set or scream. Thats the type of movies that me and my wife like to watch. We would back and see it again. But like I had said, there were some scenes that should have made that movie rate R and not PG-13. For instance like when he came up on the girl in the construction area and you watched him slash her neck and you see blood splatter on the construction plastic. Other than that it was a very well done movie that we enjoyed.

  Prom Night Scare

  This movie I would have to say was pretty intense. I loved how high quality the movie was but the acting wasn't good at all. I am finally excited to have a murder story instead of all these ghost stories that keep coming to the theater over and over and over again all based on a woman crawling on the floor. this actually seems more real than anything out lately. if you like a decent scare with a little bit of matrix moves in it, go watch this movie! This movie could have had a little more 'gore' in it with a bit more real life action (IE: More cussing, fighting, etc). If a guy was running after you with a knife, wouldn't you curse a lot during the process? And I am always tired of the people running then stopping, looking around, then look behind them and start running again. That is pretty fake. But overall this movie is fun and scary and the scenery was excellent! Hope to see more horror movies with Brittany snow in them! :D

  this movie was amazing i saw it the third day it came out.:].
  and then i am going tonight with my bestfriend her booyfriend
  and my boyfriend.so i am so excited.and i definatley think that
  if you are a teen and you wanna go with your boyfriend or
  something like that this is a goood movie to see it with.:]

  The kids loved it

  The tickets that i bought for Prom Night, were for my kids. One of them said he loved it even though he is scared of scary movies and the other two said they would go see it over and over again. So just by hearing their responses to the movie, I take it that it was an outstanding movi. If I can get a descent day off of work, I will go see it for myself

  Depends on you...

  I really enjoyed this movie. But I am a teenager, so that may have something to do with it. When I saw it, there were people in the theater who were laughing at some parts, so I guess if you're the type of person who likes to bash scary movies, then don't see it. I thought for today's day and age that this movie didn't have too many corny and super predictable parts such as other major big buck wastes. So if you're into short thriller type things, then I would recommend it. But if you have a history of thinking scary movies are retarded and are a waste of time, then this would probably be one of those.

  Better than I expected...

  I had very low expectations for this movie, but I saw it because it was basically free. It was a lot better than I expected. The storyline was unique and unlike any other horror movie. Brittany Snow made her character believable. You really end up feeling bad for her and start caring about the characters. But, I have to admit that the murders and killing scenes were not great. It kept you on the edge of your seat, but you end up wanting to see more than they show you. I recommend this movie for the storyline, but not if you're into really bloody, gory murders. You won't find much of that here.

  Great Suspense

  I thought this would be another corny scary prom movie but I was wrong. I was kept in suspense and wondering what the next move would be on both the killer and the innocent. Though the ending was rather blunt, I would recommend anyone to see this.

  A NICE THRILLER, VERY PREDICTABLE BUT OVERALL NOT A BAD MOVIE. GOOD FOR TAKING A DATE TO SEE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SCARY MOVIE OR A MOVIE WITH A TWIST THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE ONE FOR YOU. BUT IT WAS ABLE TO FULFILL MY THRILLER EXPECTATIONS. I GIVE IT A 3.5 OUT OF 5.

  Prom Night

  I went with some friends and we all loved it. We loved it because it keeps you on the edge of your seat, we were jumping almost through the whole movie, and screamed a couple times. It was predictible but what horror movie isn't. We thought the acting was pretty good. We almost cried during it because so attached to them and you feel bad for Donna. I thought the story was overall really good. You deffinetly don't want to go to this movie alone, i suggest going with friends or a boyfriend or girlfriend. I think the ending could of been better but it was still an amazing movie. I think its a movie for younger teens.
