Promised Land

Thought it to be a good movie. Good information about fracking. I could not figure why they would cast Francis McDormand as Sue. She was very blah as this character. I thought Matt Damon lived up to his character. Nice afternoon. Nothing amazing though.

It's a very one-sided, uber-liberal anti-fracking movie

An inconvenient movie... it's brainwashing 101. Radical liberals will love it, educated citizens will see it for what it is. It's bad enough that they indoctrinate your children in public schools but when it comes to having a choice, don't spend your money on propaganda comrade.

This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Both Matt Damon and John Krasinski were excellent. Frances McDormond was also extremely good. This was a very topical movie in that fracking is going on all over the US. I also thought that Hal Holbrook was perfectly cast. If you haven't seen it, I would advise you to go.

Promised Land worth waiting for!

It's a "cute" treatment of a serious issue, but a superficial treatment. Pretty slow moving for the theater, but could be okay to watch at home. Wait to see it on Netflix or OnDemand and save a few $.
