    Priceless...

Audrey Tautou (Amelie) is stunning and seductive with her sparkling brown eyes and well-dressed petite figure. She draws you in like she does her wealthy stooges and leaves you with your mouth hanging open like a starving wolf eyeing a lonesome sheep. Audrey meets Jean (Gad Elmaleh), a fatigued barman and dog-walker and is tricked into thinking he is another one of the men she preys on. Jean quickly falls for Audrey and accidentally falls into her same profession. Audrey shows Jean the tools of the trade and how she works and they are soon competing for the most expensive and extravagant gifts. Priceless is an enlightening, elegant and comical film worth seeing.

It was a charming and entertaining movie. A little on the long side. I enjoyed it overall.

    Funny French Film

Had a good time watching this film with friends. It's my first time seeing Audrey Tautou and was expecting to be impressed. She did a good job with her role as the struggling gold digger but I was blown away by her male lead, Gad Elmaleh. He plays the role of Jean, a waiter smitten with Irene, Tautou's character, who follows her to Nice and later gets drawn into becoming a male gigolo himself. Elmaleh's Jean is soulful, charming and earnest but never loses the everyman flavor of his lovelorn waiter. This is an entertaining comedy against a pretty French backdrop. Worth watching.
