I enjoyed this movie! Great movie to see with the girls !

Not worth full admission

I'd wait until it comes out on video or at a less expensive theatre. You knew where the story line went, Catherine Zeta-Jones delivered a "forgettable" performance! Dennis Quaid was annoying.

For what it is, its ok

I wasn't expecting anything fantastic. I went because I like Gerard and Jessica and by the end I liked the little boy better than the two of them. It was ok.

Missed the goal

This movie could have been really funny but definitely missed the goal. Gerard Butler makes a good retired soccer player and Catherine & Uma looked good. I am not sure if they could have made Jessica Biel look any more plan in this movie. But she still shined through.

Fun Rom-com

I didn't expect to like the main character, but Gerald Butler played the former soccer star from England perfectly. Great accent and demeanor, very like-able. It reminded me of the Russel Crowe in an early movie Mystery, Alaska.
Cute movie, perfect for date night.

Gerard is Hot!

Loved this movie. Very cute and sweet.

Boring

Had some good elements but overall boring and nothing special to watch. I love Gerard butler but this wasn't his best. Kinda like "the bounty hunter" had some potential but really missed the mark for me.

This is a movie that could have went straight to DVD. Wife and were so bored we almost left before ending. Don't waste time or money going to theatre to watch in fact wait till it hits red box.

Decent Movie

The plot was kinda vague and the story ran a bit long, but overall, this was a good movie. I enjoyed watching Butler struggle with his past and future and all the decisions he had to make. This movie is more for the adults, and I was glad that this film was not filled with a bunch of sex scenes.

Heartwarming and fun movie

This movie was even better than I had hoped for. The main focus was his relationship with his son and Gerard Butler acted his part so well I could feel his pain and his joy. I wasn't the only one because there was alot of laughter, a few tears and even clapping during this movie. It was a very heartwarming movie with some characters and relationships that people can relate to. So go go go and enjoy!

younger adults may like it, but as an older adult i thought it was not funny or entertaining and i usually like these fluffy, romantic comedies.. felt no sympathy for gerald butler's character economic situation or his relationship with his son. the three women were not believable especially the scenes when they interact with him.

I brought my 12 year old daughter to this movie because she plays soccer and I thought it would be a good soccer inspiring movie. I was very wrong! Instead, it was all about moms throwing themselves at the "ex-soccer player" coach and the coach trying to get his ex wife back all the while sleeping with the players mothers and disappointing his son. It was actually very disgusting. For the life of me I don't understand why Hollywood feels the need to drowned family movies with "adults behaving badly" substance. Are the writers just so desperate for material that this crap is the only thing they can come up with? Even the all star cast can't save this movie. Don't waste your money! Instead stay home and rent "Rudy" or "Remember the Titans" if your looking for a sports inspiring movie like I was.

Great Movie

This movie was funny. It was kind of predictable, but still great. I really enjoyed it. Though do women really throw themselves at men like they did in this movie? I highly doubt it.

Disappointed

Took a couple girl friends out to see what I thought would be a great chick flick. Very disappointed in the movie. Story line was all over the place, characters that just took up space in the movie that really had no good meaning to it. Dennis Quaid's character should have been a more supporting role than an obsessive hypocritical cheating husband. The main character was not even committed to his on own objective, to win his ex wife back. Sleeping with two different soccer moms while in pursuit of his ex-wife does not in my opinion work well with the women audience.

Not Good

Poorly written and edited, I felt uncomfortable the whole time even though it was predictable.
