Think Dodgeball meets Glee meets Bridesmaids. What a great mix of actors, exceptional writing, and directing. Although Rebel, aka Fat Amy, stole her scenes it was the ensemble that made the movie one of the best comedies I've seen in a long time.

If you like singing this is a great movie. This was my third time seeing this movie (at full price!). Anne Kendrick and Skylar Astin are great as the love interests (and both sing very well). But I really loved Fat Amy, she is really funny.
I would go see it for a 4th time!

I really enjoyed this movie. I'm a bit of an acapella nerd, so I loved the music (could have had even more) and really liked the humor throughout the film as well.

Its a good movie that makes you laugh a lot. Fat Amy is the highlight of the movie and I think without her it would have been a total flop. I recommend definitetly seeing this. It's very entertaining, but if you don't like singing don't go. The comedy was pretty good, but sometimes it seemed like they tried a bit too hard to make the audience laugh.

So on paper this seems like a really bad idea but this movie is awesome! It's hilarious, gives acapella a good name, and was the best movie of 2012. The acting is believable and Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) just steals the stage. Also this proves that Anna Kendrick can act outside of Twilight (like most people except for Kristen Stewart). I highly recommend it.
