    what a boring movie this was. i had a couple of chuckles, overall not a funny movie. jokes fell flat. but i did like Steve Martian, i thought he was the only reason y this movie was worth watching. i will never watch this movie again.

    Tickled Pink!

    After what I thought was a disaster in Pink Panther 1, I was expecting the worst, but I am delighted to say I was pleasantly tickled pink. Steve Martin will never "be" Inspector Clouseau, that will always be Peter Sellers. However, in this sequel Steve Martin actually did a good imitation. The whole falling through the house on video camera was actually hilarious, as well as a few other scenes. If they could scrap the whole pronounciation gag bit (at least it wasn't dwelled on this time), and tightened up the script just a bit, where it leaves enough clues for the audience to solve the case, this could have actually been a VERY good movie instead of just a good one. The supporting cast is good (especially Alfred "Doc Ock" Molina). Steve Martin scripted some of the screenplay which I actually account for the vast improvement from 1.

    The Pink Panther 2

    The Pink Panther 2 is a very very smart movie. It was not one of the best films of the year but it was funny and enjoyable. Steve Martin was extremely the only person who actually was funny in the film but it was a little predictable. Even though it wasnt THAT good if you were looking for a fun film that will make you laugh this is the film you want to see.
