Disappointed

The movie was okay but not at all what I expected it to be. The way it was advertised isn't how the movie actually is like. It was way too short and I didn't like the interruptions of the songs that were done in talking to the band. And it wasn't worth the $15 ticket price either. Not the way I wanted to spend my birthday either. I thought with the movie only playing on my birthday that it would be really special to see, but it wasn't. I didn't like the ending either.

The music and production were fantastic as always. It was nice to experience it from the big screen and movie surround sound. The historical concert footage was a very interesting addition to the experience. I wouldn't have minded if the show had lasted a little longer (maybe 3 or 4 more songs). Quite possibly the closest I'll ever be to seeing Peter Gabriel Live.

I love Peter Gabriel. He is one of my favorite artists. However, this was a rip off. Why anyone would spend $19 a head to see a film that will eventually be sold (which it already is) is ponderous. I thought we were going to get something special for this investment.

Peter Gabriel's concerts are not only about the music, but about bringing the audiences into the show as well. And the way this concert was filmed, you felt like you were in the front row.
