Disappointed

The movie was okay but not at all what I expected it to be. The way it was advertised isn't how the movie actually is like. It was way too short and I didn't like the interruptions of the songs that were done in talking to the band. And it wasn't worth the $15 ticket price either. Not the way I wanted to spend my birthday either. I thought with the movie only playing on my birthday that it would be really special to see, but it wasn't. I didn't like the ending either.

Back to Front Peter Gabriel

The music and production were fantastic as always. It was nice to experience it from the big screen and movie surround sound. The historical concert footage was a very interesting addition to the experience. I wouldn't have minded if the show had lasted a little longer (maybe 3 or 4 more songs). Quite possibly the closest I'll ever be to seeing Peter Gabriel Live.

Gabriel Delivers, Movie theater a little less so

By ruskefamily

Back to Front was typical high quality work by Peter Gabriel. I have been to many of his concerts over the years and this is very much in line with my expectations and I would gladly recommend it. That being said, the theater experience could have been better. It does not seem like they fully utilized the sound system in a modern stadium theater to full effect. It took them a while to turn down the house lights and they did a poor job of controlling people using smartphones (which are way brighter than anything else in the theater and very annoying). The facility (Regal 14 in Hamilton Commons, NJ) was excellent in all areas besides the aforementioned sound and light issues…

Hamilton and the band delivers in a big way.

Hamish Hamilton and the band did not let Peter Gabriel fans leave this film without a sense of feeling complete. Nothing like feeling being front and center to view some spectacular talent. What I found was the clarity of all the instruments was like nothing I have ever experienced. Every instrument was equally and masterfully played!!! The sound is incredible. I just wish it were longer than one hour and forty minutes!
