Me encanto la pelicula , la verdad tiene mucho de Mitologia y fantacia pero a mi criterio la pelicula esta bien echa y desde que empieza la pelicula hasta el final te atrapa y te deja con ganas de seguir sumergido en ella !! EXCELENTE !!!

I loved The Lightning Thief and didn't read the books until after I saw that movie. I love the books and Sea of Monsters did not disappoint. It was a little slow in the beginning but picked up well. I know they usually have to cut some out when they make a movie out of a book but I wish they didn't. I was looking forward to Percy being turned into a rodent. :) Other than that, I loved it and I look forward to the next ...

Great Action, Funny, and Quick Come Backs!

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is the best movie I’ve seen all summer! I read the books (which are very good), so I had to see this movie. I didn’t like the first one much because it wasn’t close to the book among other things. This film is much better then the first one. It’s filled with quick come backs and funny lines. It has great action and fantasy elements that interweave with a strong story plot. The water horse was magical and pulled you into the Greek myths. I laughed many times and was excited about what might happen next. The Firefly reference was classic. I would have liked Annabeth to be a little more powerful. At one point she was hiding when her book character wouldn’t have been. But Clarisse was a strong female character. Next time let’s have more then one please. Joss would agree. Overall Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters was a really well done movie. I plan to get this one when it comes out on DVD and add it to my movie collection.

Seriously, tho. My husband had read the novels and was interested in how they did the adaptation, and was majorly disappointed. He compared it on a level to "Avatar: The Last Airbender"

I took my son and four of his friends to the movie. It was clean and there were a couple of places were they attempted to be funny. The animation was incredible, but it seemed like some of the boys were a bit disappointed. They thought they left some important details out from the books and changed the plot a bit. I thought it was enjoyable though.
