It's been too, too long since I've enjoyed an intelligent, moving, and quirky movie, as, People Like Us. Actors embraced their roles, sans loosing individuality or creativity. Great for tweens, with parental involvement. The audience becomes a willing partner in the journey, the tour of life from the protagonist's perspective. Kudos to Michael Hall D'Addario portraying the, not so lost, tween, who made us forget that he was acting. Loved the story, acting, albeit imperfectly forced cameo by Favero. Go see this movie! .........pass the popcorn, pls. ..............

Best two hours I've spent all year in a movie. It really touches everyone, because everyone can relate to all the situations in one way or another.

Nice change

It was a nice change from the suspense of the shoot 'um up movies. Probably more towards a chick flick but my husband was ok with it. I am glad I saw it. I felt the acting was well done in the movie.

This movie was absolutely amazing. I promise you that you will not regret seeing this movie. Chris Pine gives a performance that will awe you. Michelle Pfeiffer is her wonderful self and Elizabeth Banks stunning performance will stay with you long after the movie is over. The story line is extremely will done and will make you cry before the end. Guys this is a total chick flick and your woman will love you for taking her to see such a memorable movie.

People Like Us

Where do I begin? Very early in the movie you knew how this was going to turn out. Absolutely no surprises. In addition, so many things didn't make sense - the brother was always jumping into the sister's car without a thought to leaving his car behind. The kid puts the key in the lock but the door opens without turning the key; this sloppiness continued throughout the movie. And the ending - well it was so implausible. Save your money.
