Wait for it to come on DVD and then rent it from the Red Box. It's fun but but predictable. You probably have seen the funnest scenes in the commercials.

This film is a solid C, not a C+ nor C- just a C. I was elated to see that Craig Robinson got his first starring role. I enjoy the quirkiness he brings to his characters. And for what it's worth, he did a well enough job with the material. The story is pretty much a black person's version of "Meet The Parents". The comedic fish out of water elements are there, minus ALL the star power. Robinson and his brother (Malcom Barett) are the only interesting characters in the film. Kerry Washington while gorgeous, shouldn't have been the likely choice for this role. There was no on screen chemistry between she and Robinson, making their relationship, the driving force of the film unbelievable. Some of the scenes and plot points felt like fillers. The introduction of Melvin Van Peebles and Diahann Carrol as "the grandparents" is an example. All in all it was a forgettable, mediocre film, that may resinate with some at the box-office. But I'd suggest you Red Box it!

I have not laughed so hard til my stomach ached and couldn't stop, since both the premiere of Queens and Kings of Comedy. I laughed from the beginning to end. OMGoodness!!! every character brought and left something to be desired again. I plan to see again within a week. If you are home alone, and want to escape that old chair, and put on your walking shoes...ease on down the road and meet the Peeples@

Good movie that leaves you feeling good. Lots of general laughs with some "you gotta understand" laughs. Lightly shows the struggles between classes and the attitudes that go along with all that. Go and enjoy...you will not be disappointed ....

Loved it! Truly a Tyler Perry production. Very funny and all of the characters were great especially Judge Peeples (David Allen Grier). If you truly want a giggle or downright laugh, this is the movie to see. Made my day after a long and trying week.
