Peeples

FUNNY-Filmed on the east coast. GREAT. This movie is a sleeper and more folks should go to see this gem.. Honestly I was thinking physical chemistry between Craig and Kerry wouldn't work. But it went deeper than that. It was a movie about family, trust, laughter and keeping you real when what is 'real' in front of you is actually 'false evidence appearing real - fear). Tables turn in good ways!!! It was such a funny movie. The woman who plays Kerry's mom is a dream, with surprises like Diahann Carroll and Melvin Van Peeples along with 'everybody hates Chris' star with David Alan Grier weaving his brilliance in such amazing ways -- it was such a laughing good time. The bottom line -- what you see can be better than what you hoped for! GO SEE THIS MOVIE (I am not related to any cast or film crew) It is a sleeper. Under 12 years old should not attend unless you are ready to explain some of the adult subject matter.

A So So Family Romp...

Like many of Perry's films, this one's formulaic. It works but the audience leaves feeling less than satisfied, entertainment-wise. See in on DVD, cable or stream. You'll be glad you didn't pay the high price of a theater seat.

A Sleeper...

...and by that I don't mean the "it's one the critics slept on, don't miss it." I mean, it will put you to sleep. It was unoriginal and dull. I had a good nap. Trying to find a high point: S. Epatha Merkeson - I've never seen her in anything besides commercials; I liked her and would like to see her in more movies.
