For me, the issue with Tyler Perry movies is that he cranks out so many that the comedies start to seem like replicates of others. The movie was funny, but the plot was banal and the storyline was predictable. Also, I could not accept that the lead actors had true romantic chemistry. The only person missing to make it a classic Tyler Perry movie was Madea. My recommendation is to wait until it comes on cable. There are many other worthwhile movies to see right now that this doesn't warrant consideration.

Although this is a family movie some of the content pushed the limit a bit for me. I did find the movie to be funny but the kids ages 12 and 16 did not so much. The youngest child thought the funniest part of the movie was the dog chase. After that she was bored and ready to leave... not one of the best movies that I have seen this year and not one of the worst.

It was an overused cliché about the underachieving boyfriend trying to fit in with his well-heeled girlfriend's dysfunctional family, but "Peeples" pulled it off with great hilarity! Go see it if for nothing else to see "the impromptu step show" with Judge Peeples and his father!!!

Have enjoyed Tyler Perry movies in the past. This movie is a disgrace if you have any moral values. What's happened to purity? We walked out and got our money back. Shame on anyone who sees NOTHING wrong with this movie. XXXXXXX rated

I actually thought that the movie was not that good. I wish I had waited for it to come on Cable!
