With such a horrible and often riduculous plot line, screenplay, and dialog, I actually felt embarrased and sorry for Billy Crystal, who prior to this had my respect for having given us some terrific and memorable comedic performances. Most tolerable part of the movie was Bette Midler's brief singing duet with Crystal.

As a grandparent I really liked this show. It is a lot like my life. My chance to instill my lifelong beliefs into my GK's, which I think are important. Got to get those little slackers going!

Very funny but it has an excellent message for today's parents. I especially got a charge of the kids when Billy Crystal wanted them to play out in the yard, they said "play outside !"

Billy, Bette and Marissa are fine, but the movie as a whole, is ho-hum. I expected some side-splitting humor with this cast, but there were just a few chuckles, and a few moments of near tears emotional content. So nice, but not great, especially for over $15 per ticket in NYC.
Suitable for audiences that don't want to be challenged. Don't worry if you fall asleep (I didn't) duiring it - you wont miss anything.

One of Billy Crystal's best roles - he was made for the part. Loved the premise of old-school vs new-school as it played out in marriage, parenting, and careers (subtle statement about out times) and how each has it's strengths and weaknesses. Well done and tons of fun.
