This is a great movie. A must see for the family, they just dont make movies like this much any more and Hats off to Billy Crystal and Bette Midler for such a great movie. It would pay some of the other writers to be more like this. Its shows you can have a great time a make a wonderful movie with out the potty mouth that nearly all movies have now a days. Thank You Billy Crystal for doing such a funny movie that the whole family can enjoy together. My husband and I laughed the whole time and so did everyone in the theater. I love the Japanese chef, I have not seen him since he played Long Duck Dong in 16 candles. He was funny then and funny now. Great Movie!!!

saw this with my 10 year old, too much potty humor, the main characters were likable enough butt the torment they went thru was too over the top, I guess that's the only way Hollywood can portray people that they have no common ground with. Sorry butt i give this a 2 out of 5 stars.

It's a warm, inspirational story told by great actors. It is perfect for all ages from children to grandparents; there were no trashy words nor bizarre scenes. I hope this movie has a long life!

Total Crap!

With such a horrible and often riduculous plot line, screenplay, and dialog, I actually felt embarrased and sorry for Billy Crystal, who prior to this had my respect for having given us some terrific and memorable comedic performances. Most tolerable part of the movie was Bette Midler's brief singing duet with Crystal.
