I wanted to pick a movie that my whole family would like to watch on Christmas Day and was surprised that my 11-year old suggested Parental Guidance. Of course, that was my wife’s first choice, so I was pleased. Billy Crystal and Bette Midler are hilarious and the plot and message hit the mark. It was an all-around good time.

I saw this movie with my 11 year old son and his two friends and we all loved it!! Humor was appropriate for all ages. Very touching family movie. I would highly recommend it.

Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.

This movie is predictable, badly acted, and has characters that you struggle to like. The little boy is a huge brat that you wish would just go away. I saw some people leave the theatre in the middle of this movie. I wanted to join them, but the family was there with me. I stuck it out to the end. Ugh.

Seeing that there were no family movies out there for President's Day weekend, my sons chose to see Parental Guidance and I'm glad they did. It was not a plot-heavy movie but contained enough to move the movie and enjoy the cute moments. We all enjoyed it and I think most would if they were not looking for an Oscar winner!
