Not Really Child-Friendly
This film should have been rated PG-13 for violence, horror, and language. It's really too much for young children. Within the first ten minutes, a highly-sexualized teenage girl character calls another character a "Jack-Ass". You could hear the gasps in the theater from other parents like me, who'd brought kids aged 6-8 to see this. As the film developed, this teenage girl is practically throwing herself at the teenage boy character - who spends most of the film without a shirt on, showing off his six-pack abs. (Warning: Spoilers to come) The premise of the film is that a bunch of 18th century people (now zombies) sentenced an 11-year old girl to death, and killed her - causing her to be an evil "witch". The last third of the film is VERY scary to small children, as the witch attempts to destroy everyone. At the end of the film, the teenage boy is revealed to be gay with a boyfriend. Unnecessary and difficult to explain to a child, not to say inappropriate in a child's film.
