I took my 12- and 9-year-olds to see ParaNorman 3D. I think we would have been just as happy to see it in 2D as the 3D wasn't all that spectacular. It was there, but mainly noticeable in the scenery. Also, my oldest kept asking what it was rated because of the topics discussed, humor and different situations the children found themselves. She felt it should have been rated PG13. Despite all of that, it was a funny movie that took on the issue of bullying and remaining to true to yourself. I would have been just as happy to watch it at home as a rental.

I didn't really want to go see this movie, but I took my son. He loved it and so did I. It was funny and it looked great in 3D

Saw the movie with my son. It took off a little slow but it really addressed issues regarding children's behaviors, acceptance, parents, bullies, and self identity. I was happy at all of the issues that were addressed except for one. There was a bit that addressed a teenagers same sex boyfriend. Really? In a child's movie? I felt that the subject matter was not needed or was funny in any matter. Let a child's movie be a child's movie and get all the politcal crap out.

my grandkids seemed to like it...heard a few giggles...I think this movie would be too scarey for the younger kids...(my grandkids are 11 and 13). This was my first 3-D movie...wasn't that impressed...I think I'll save the money and just go to the 2-D movies from now on.

A cute movie, with lots of adult humor. Has a great underlying message, but the content is a little scarier than we expected. We took our 5 year old. She enjoyed it, but was frightened in a few places. We just had to remind her that it was a made up story, not real. I would definitely rent it, or catch a matinee, its a good movie, but not a "have to see in the theater" in my opinion.
