As in the previous versions, lots of creepy stuff happening in the 4th installment of this franchise. lots of things to make you jump and cringe worthy scenes, although the ending is abrupt, but then again, I think they all were.

Ok, so I am a fan of this series, my favorites have been Paranormal Activity 2 and 3. Paranormal Activity 4... you were absolutely not worth my movie theater ticket money!! Let me mention too that the ending is open ended as if there could be a 5th!!! To this ending I will not plead for a 5th, no way Jose! The movie was more funny than anything. They really bombed with this one. SMH

My friends and I really enjoyed this film. I saw it at a 530pm show, with about 50 people sitting in clusters of 3 -6 throughout the theater.
We screamed and laughed and reacted together - the audience participation made the experience AMAZING.
Grading the films (for scariness) from 10 (AAHH!) to 1 (Boo.):
-Paranormal Activity 2
-Paranormal Activity 4
-Paranormal Activity 3
There are kids in it, but it's NOT for kids.
There was an Easter Egg after the credits...it's in Spanish.

What a disappointment. Predictable, slow, and who carries a camera filming while they are running and screaming. Don't waste your money, wait to see it on cable. Paranormal 3 was much better.

Having seen the first 3 movies I was excited for the 4th one. It was good, but it wasn't as scary as the 3rd one was. They used many of the same tactics and they let the build-up to the scary moments last forever. It still made everyone in the theatre jump though so they got their point across. I will say that the storyline was kind of confusing as to which kid belongs to who. The last 5-10 mintues are defintley the scariest and throughout the movie there was some funny moments spinkled here and there. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars overall :)
