    Paranormal Activity 4, and Hopefully No More

    When the first Paranormal Activity came out, it was a new approach to horror, a breath of fresh air sort of speak, it drew you in, it kept your eyes glued to the screen, wondering what your going to see as your eyes went back and forth looking, hoping you didnt miss it. Next we had part 2, then part 3, each of which still held a little interest, but with each movie, that interest faded more and more, and now with the latest, Part 4, the series has died for me, I felt so bored watching this movie, even came close to just closing my eyes, and the little bit of activities that did happen .. just didnt do anything for me. The movie dragged on until about the last 10 minutes, then it did get a bit better with the action, unfortunately, it was to late to do any justice for the rest of the movie. Its time for them to hang this series of movies up and move on, as the stories have been on the shelf to long and the experation date has long expired, I'd give this 1 out of 4 stars. Enjoy :)

    Worst one

    I was a big fan of Paranormal Activity 1 and 2.
    3 was eh,but this one was definitely the worst one.
    It was NOT scary,It was NOT jumpy.
    I was highly disappointed! It was all about this little teenager girl(who is quite annoying).
    The story line towards the end kinda doesn't tell you to much and you're very lost on who the little boy actually is.
    Definitely wouldn't waste your money to go watch in theatres!

    SCARY AS F*CK!!!

    Im 14, and i saw this movie last week with my friends, who are also 14. We are all freshman, and this movie was all everybody was talking about so we saw it. The first half hour is boring, but then **** starts getting creepy. It gets really intense, and in like the last 10 minutes, me and my friends were like about to piss on ourselves. This movie was the best entry in the series, and i think you should go see it!

    All I will say about this movie,is if you enjoyed the other movies,you will like this.Same as the others,just different plot.I liked it,jumped a few times,had some laughs in it as well.!!

    Oh man...

    I am sad because I really enjoyed the first one and pretty much liked the second. The third was not good in my opinion but I had high hopes they will bounce back. I will probably go to the next one with the same hopes but it was not scary and it has gotten weird...

    You've seen it before

    There are only so many times we can get scared of doors and chairs moving on their own! This is by far the most disappointing of them all. It is also the most boring of them all. There is nothing new to be seen here. I loved the first two, and the third was where it started to slip. They really dropped the ball on this one. Even though the ending is the standard "OMG" ending, it's not worth sitting through the previous hour and 25 minutes to get to the last 5 minutes, which is when most of the activity happens. Don't see it in theaters. Wait for the DVD or skip it altogether.

    Moves slow but. . .

    The action picks up in the last 30 mins. Since the 1st hour moves so slowly you basically scare yourself with the anticipation of something bad happening. Pretty intense ending and a slight twist. You get your scares at the end. Also, poses one question in terms of what exactly happened at the end of 2. Loyal PA fans/followers will enjoy it.

    PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4

    This movie was awesome, if you haven't seen the new ones I would tell you to see those first before you see this one so you can understand the story line and know the characters. Awesome movie go see if especially like its Halloween weekend!

    And they are the only 10 minutes of the movie I enjoyed. There is a way that someone could take all 4 of these movies and edit them together to make a really good movie. What they have done now is rely on the fact that I am studying the screen for the creepy thing they want me to see only to make something jump out and try to scare me...well I am not a 8 year old child so that doesn't work. I know they will make another one because the story is not finished and we all need to know what this clan of witches or demons or whatever is trying to bring forth. I for one will not be tricked into watching it at the theater again I will watch the rest on DVD...thanks anyway.

    Waste of money

    I am a big fan of all the movies, but this one just sucked so bad. The ending was good but that was the scariest part of the entire movie which lasted about 8-10 minutes then it was over, and left me feeling that there should be more to the movie, and that will probably be the nest movie.

    Over hyped

    What a disappointment. Predictable, slow, and who carries a camera filming while they are running and screaming. Don't waste your money, wait to see it on cable. Paranormal 3 was much better.

    feels like we're going in a storyline circle

    This movie franchise is a Halloween tradition with myself and my cousin so we were really excited about this movie. Not for the scares, but for the story. We were both indifferent about this one. It was a good way to go with the story and a good twist on Hunter but it just felt like the writers and directors were just doing the same story and biding their time and money until the last 10 minutes of the movie togive the audience a good scare. My opinion, if you're just in it for the story like me, wait until it comes out on bluray unless you just really want to see it. Butif you want a good scare by all means go see it.

    Paranormal Activity was a good movie but not a great movie. I do admit that I did get freaked out at the end of the movie, freaking katie scared me when she ran at the girl and her face went all demonic.

    Worth going but not as scary as the 3rd

    Having seen the first 3 movies I was excited for the 4th one. It was good, but it wasn't as scary as the 3rd one was. They used many of the same tactics and they let the build-up to the scary moments last forever. It still made everyone in the theatre jump though so they got their point across. I will say that the storyline was kind of confusing as to which kid belongs to who. The last 5-10 mintues are defintley the scariest and throughout the movie there was some funny moments spinkled here and there. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars overall :)

    Good

    If you have seen the rest and liked it you would probably like this one. The suspense for me is always the best. The way it ended, I am sure there will be more. Even some of the guys screamed like girls.
