An unfunny, depressing movie

This movie is factually based, and the facts are sad and unfunny. Everyone overacts and they act stupidly. It's quite violent, too. Wait for the DVD.

I don't know what everybody is talking about, this was a funny movie. I considered it to be more of a dark comedy, you'll know what I mean when you watch it. Secondly If you see it's rated R then its a Rated R film, don't expect it to be good for your kids to watch then complain about the movie being a horrible flick.

This movie seemed pretty good on the promos and since it was the only movie coming out this weekend with a couple of big name actor I decided to go with my girlfriend. I was instantly disappointed. The narration was laughable. The plot was stupid and it got worse and worse as the movie went on. I wanted to walk out 30 minutes into it but said maybe it will get better. It didn't! Worse movie I have seen this year and I have seen some crappy ones. Very disappointed in "The Rock" & Mark Wahlbergh for even letting this movie go on screen after they finished it and watched it. DO NOT GO. STAY AWAY! I love the actors but this was not a good movie for them.

One i thought it would be a just comedy, but it is a dark comedy with a great story that makes it awesome. Obviously this is rated R so don't take kids or if you aren't the type of person who likes a stupid comedy such as a Will Ferrell or Hangover. I Love this movie because it has alot of action and comedy that keeps me entertained from the first 45 min to the end i want to know whats gonna happen next! Go if you want to be entertained yes it's a true story but remember it's a movie and we go there to be entertained no serious all the time.

Pain & Gain

My husband & I really like Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson, so I figured this was a must see for us. The one thing about the movie that suprised me the most was that this is actually based on a true story. I had heard a few basic things about the outline of the story, but the movie actually shocked me and blew me away. The first thing I have to say is that I can't believe these idiots managed to get away with the crimes as long as they did. It doesn't say much about the abilities of the Miami/Dade county police department. Mark & Dwayne give great performances and both really stretched their acting abilities in this one. It is so unrealistic that I had to keep reminding myself that it all actually happened! On the whole, I have to say that we enjoyed it immensely. I think that having a somewhat sick sense of humor helps, as we couldn't help laughing at some of the stupid, sick things these guys did. We might even have to own this one!!
