Don't miss this epic adventure and let yourself be swept away to the wonderful world of Oz! See it in 3D and IMAX if possible! Our family loved everything about this movie! The acting, special effects and production design were superb!!!! Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, Mila Kunis and James Franco were fabulous!!!!

Good prequel. Excellent use of 3D. True to the Wizard of Oz story but still stands on its own. Good for kids over the age of 8; probably too intense for younger kids because of images of flying baboons (I may have nightmares about those guys!).
The CGI is a bit disappointing in some places, but positively magnificent in others. The acting is decent but nothing spectacular; won't win any awards in that category.

My 6 year old daughter and I loved it! I honestly don't know why people are giving this movie such a hard time? It was magical, funny, and WICKED! We found ourselves laughing, crying, and even jumping with fear! What more could you want?! I def wouldn't recommend it to small children though. 6 years and up

The 3-D special effects were cool but the movie had no plot. There were parts that were leading up to suspense but then it big effect never came. Was very disappointed that I went to see this in the theater. It would have been good enough for a Redbox rental. The movie was just overall.... really lame for all the major hype.

Few movies are worth the added cost of 3D, but Oz totally was. We saw it in Imax 3D and it was worth the extra cost. The story is good and harkens back to the original movie without being too cheesy. It's a great family choice.
