Great for kids

Took my Grand kids, ages 9 and 15 and they both loved it - was a little long and dragged somewhat in the middle but excellent family entertainment. Had to buy my Granddaughter the China Girl Doll afterwords, they are very hard to find.

Has to be seen in IMAX 3D

This movie was awesome in IMAX 3D, but it would have probably had been ok in digital. James Franco was very funny, graphics were good ( somethings looked fake), and I jumped so much because things were popping out at you. The only thing that I had to complain about was Michelle Williams acting. She was nothing like Glenda on the original.

Enjoyed Movie

I really enjoyed watching the movie in IMAX and 3D, I was delighted at the black and white beginning that transitioned to the spectacular color of Oz. The characters were very beliievable and I was drawn into the story. I watched it with my 5 year old daughter and it was delightful to see her react to the scenes. I will cherish this movie for the rest of my life since I was able to share it with her.

Unfortunate

We were expecting an amazing movie. We were not impressed. Too bad. Wait for the dvd, unless you are bent on the 3D experience. The main characters acting is awful. The 3D and CGI are great. The story makes sense, but will not blow you away. could have been so much better. wait for the DVD.

Its ok don't waste your time are money with the IMAX 3d not worth it at all. If i could get my money back I would be more than happy to take it. It had some funny moments but for the most part blah
