I was most disappointed in this movie. Much too much time was spent on the set-up for the movie. I expected to see the complete musical show. Instead, there were only very brief snippets of the four one act musical plays. The movie skipped around the four musicals, and it was difficult to follow what was happening because of all of the skipping around. I would not recommend this movie to any of my musical going friends or colleagues. There should have been some type of disclaimer before entering the movie stating that we would not actually see a complete musical play. For me this was a $29 waste of time, and I would like my money back.

This was a fun movie. It is exciting to see some performers take on such a daunting task. Anyone who has ever been involved in the production of any type of show can understand the pressure, work and time that is taken... And they did it in 24 hours.
I would have liked to see the final musicals from beginning to end, rather than in pieces, but a great movie.
IF YOU GO... Make sure you stay after thr first set of credits for the cast interviews!

"One Night Stand" is nail-biting, poignant and very funny--a depiction of the mysterious workings of the creative process and the gut-wrenching anxiety that comes with performing. The movie features some incredibly talented Broadway stars (Cheyenne Jackson, Mandy Gonzalez, Alicia Witt, Richard Kind, Rachel Dratch, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and many others) and gives you a glimpse into their process--what it's like to pull together a performance and make it look effortless, when in fact it is anything but. The movie is inspiring and totally captivating. I think it would be great to share with children, and anyone interested in the arts.

It was really fun and interesting to see. The only thing I did not like was the editing. They should have let us see each show in it's entirety. SO boo for the editing.. but the content was wonderful... stay till after the credits.. there are more interviews...

We went in with high expectations but not really knowing exactly what we were in for. Being actors/directors/choreographers/designers we found this film to be engrossing, funny, poignant, exhausting, and utterly amazing. We left the theater with a renewed respect for our fellow artists and a renewed committment to continuing our own theatrical journies. THANK YOU for bringing this to the general public. HIGHLY recommend to anyone involved in the performing or creative arts.
