    From 1988 to 2005, a huge chase.... and then... SHE DIES!! WTF!

    I just watched this movie, because 1.) my partner wanted to watch it and 2.) I was also intrigued by the film and expected Anne Hathaway movies to be delightful, light and romantic. What it all boils down to is that she is in love with her best friend and he lives his party-hard drug addictive promiscuous self-centered life, all the while she STILL in love with him and in my opinion, waits for him the entire time! When he finally is done with his marriage and is single (2003 or so) and she has her life together, he thinks he can just walk into her open arms! She ends up picking him and they get married, but then in 2006 she is riding her bike and SERIOUSLY OUT OF THE BLUE A BIG TRUCK HITS HER AND SHE DIES!! WTF! This movie sucks and I hate that it ended in such an abruptly disturbing and sad way! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS FILM, it SUCKS!!

    I read the reviews about this film....& they were soooo terrible that I decided not to waste anymore of my money on crappy movies. ;-)

    I normally don't listen to critics. I view the film(s) myself...make up my own mind if I liked it, loved it, hated it, wasted my time, money, etc., etc.,.

    But there were just so many "rotten tomatoes" about this that I chose to steer clear of it. The book wasn't that great either. :-(

    HUGE disappointment

    I was really looking forward to this one. I was hugely disappointed. The first two-thirds is incredibly disjointed and then the last third of the movie is just well....hugely disappointing.

    Poor Anne Hathaway...such a lovely girl in Princess Diaries and other Disney movies. I know my younger sisters really looked up to her in those. THIS movie however...wow. Infiltrated with sex, people taking off their clothes, unnecessary comedy scenes, etc. Anne Hathaway,my sisters really looked up to you and the sweet girl you used to portray in your older movies, but you have now lost our busine

    Suprisingly good

    I bought the tickets thinking this was an art film and I wouldn't enjoy it, but I was wrong. I asumed it was a chick flick and I would probably fall asleep during the show. The lives of the characters were interesting enough to keep me alert. Then at the end I was captivated and nearly in tears. My date enjoyed it as well and actually screamed out loud during one of the scenes..

    Waste of acting talent

    This was a very tedious movie that I just kept wishing would end. The characters weren't very likable so i never cared much about them. The 2 people i was with both shed a few tears in spots. I never even got a lump in my throat as i just didn't care what happened to them.
