Salt was released around the time Russian spies were caught, most notably Anna Chapman. The plot has many holes, but overall it was a decent performance put up by Angelina Jolie. Olympus on the other hand copies the same terrorist attack at the white house, where president was held hostage at the presidential bunker. Only difference is we currently have North Korea crisis, and the bad guys are the Koreans. The plot is somewhat better than Salt, but how many times do you want Hollywood to produce movies about attack on White House and hostage situation at the bunker? While I've seen worse movies this year, I have to give this below a so-so rating.

Its a fun action movie, as long as you don't pay attention to detail. Holes in the story, weak CGI are pretty evident. But its a blast to watch it on a big screen!

The movie was relevant utilizing the US's history of squatting in other people's countries under the guise of implementing Democracy, and it's cruelty to others with some of the possible repercussions of these acts. It was simply a really well put together experience as movies go!

Good action, plot, and characters. Battle in front of white house = disappointed, except for close up action. Who stands up on open ground in a fire fight? After those scenes the story kept me in my seat.
