This 1.5hr comedy stars John Travolta and Robin Williams in unflattering undignified roles - plus a supporting cast of Matt Dillon, the late Bernie Mac(in his final film), Kelly Preston, Seth Green, and Justin Long. As the bro-mance odd-couple/best friends - Robin Williams and John Travolta never quite connect, and their scenes together were awkward and seemed forced. The jokes were juvenile, crass, and for the most part - flat. I was not expecting to be treated to the sight of Robin Williams' shaggy chest pelt. I was also NOT expecting to see him in Speedo-style swimwear. Instead of laughing, I cringed in horror - totally shocked. Badly scripted, hap-hazardly executed, and woefully-acted, this awful tedious dumb and insipid turkey should have been euthanized to put it out of its misery and spare us from such cinema-garbage. VERDICT: I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this movie. Not worth a rental. If you must, watch it at your peril.

Saw this movie in its "unfinished" production at a preview.. expected boring.. and ended up laughing the entire time, seriously my cheeks and stomach hurt from laughing. John and Robin are a GREAT comedy team. The movie is light comedy, so don't expect something deep...but if you just want to laugh GO! John's little girl, does a good job and of course Kelly Preston is her beautiful self....bottom line..so worth it!

Ths movie was fantastic!!!!! I was laughing most of the time. There were some sad parts like when Charlies dog died but other wise it was a great movie. It was funny, sad, and really entertaining. The funniest part was when the dumb executive was traped by a gorilla. What came in a really close second was when the kids drop the pills and john and robin took different pills than they were supposed to. Lets just say they had some funny *** side effects. it was worth the money and i would see many times more. hope this helped

Old Dogs - Tired Plot

Do I love Williams and Travolta. Yes. DId I want to like this movie. Yes. Did I? Actually, my husband and I left 15 minutes into the movie. I haven't left a movie in 18 years - so it was a big thing. First. The script is so bad that even Williams can't save it. The cinematorgraphy is gritty and if I were Rita Wilson I would sue for making me look 10 years older. Tired jokes. The cutting was beyond reasonable. In the first 15, I didn't care one little bit for these characters. These are really good actors. Shame.
