Although it would be a great movie for children to see, I thought it would show us things about as well as in the ocean that we didn't already know about. It was the same ole thing you can see on T.V. Why all the fuss? The cinematography was great for what you could see of it. But because it went from one thing to another so fast you really had a very short time to enjoy it.

I really enjoyed the movie. The wildlife photography was amazing, as it always is with Disney. There were some of the many animals not identified, which made it even better for the many children who will watch it. They will want to know what that strange animal is and maybe even do some reading!! The film went quite seamlessly from one scene to the next...flowing as the ocean does. I even sat through all the credits and was amazed at how many countries were involved in the project. There were so many permits needed and granted! I have never seen so many in other films I've seen. It truly was a world wildlife film! There was a lot of Earth Day related observations in the movie (loss of animal habitat, etc.), but not so much as to interrupt the flow of the movie. Earth Day is forty years old and I'm sure it has had an effect youngsters over the years. As far as who should watch the movie...I would recommend it for all ages...even the fairly young and the fairly old :)

It was extremely well done! Beautiful, inspiring ... calls us to realize how much we don't know ... how much we take for granted ... how connected we all are.

I just don't know if I can even put into words how I feel about this movie! First let me say that they did a fantastic job with the way they shot the scenes The visual impact is incredible. So much of it seems so surreal. I cried most of the way through the movie just because of the shear beauty of it all. It is packed with stuff so you will need to see it more than once to get it all in. Hopefully there will be a DVD soon. I know this may not be the best review but I really do not know what else to say. There is no way that you would not love this movie.
