Most films are dark and hard to see. Oblivion was bright and easy to see everything. Tom Cruise was AWSOME! Great sound track...was moving. All I can say is: Jengo Fett from Star Wars, Hal 9000 from 2001, Mad Max, Inception, Zion from Matrix, Independence Day and a few other movies all wrapped up into one. Visually stunning! CGI was WICKED! I will see this movie a few times....its that good! The year started out shaky with a few other movies....but, THIS IS WORTH IT! The First great movie of 2013!

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Tom Cruise did an excellent acting job. Morgan Freeman was his usual great self. I enjoyed the plot twists. The cinematography was A - One.

Decent, not fantastic

Overall it was a good flick. It has you thinking one thing is happening when it is really the opposite thing. There are some great visuals, but not enough Morgan Freeman.

Great Sci - fi movie with a so-so storyline

Great movie - must go for sci-fi aficionados, a go for the others just for the special effects. Story line is set in 2077 as an aftermath of a war with an invading species. Won't say anything more.

Slow, complicated, with clones, clones of clones, and clones, clones, clones, Oblivion is pretty hard to follow, assuming that it actually goes anywhere. If you decide to go, be prepared for some confusing time-freeze, parallel narrative stuff, non-sexy sex, and LOTS of footage of a CG chopper. Oh, and there's Morgan Freeman, too, in a cameo that exists...well, I guess it exists because Morgan Freeman wanted to get paid for being in a Tom Cruise movie. A pretty dull, lifeless mishmash adding up to very little.
